    This turmeric and yogurt face mask is loaded with antioxidants and probiotics for a glow that is great for just about any skin type!

    First of all, what is turmeric? Turmeric is a flowering plant native to southern India and Indonesia and is known for its bright yellow color and bold flavor. Often used in cooking, it also has amazing medicinal properties and has been used as a natural skincare ingredient for ages!


    Turmeric Benefits:

    • Anti-Inflammatory properties to reduce skin inflammation, swelling, and irritation
    • Anti-Bacterial for reducing acne and blemishes

    So, adding turmeric is obviously important! But what about yogurt? Well, did you know that Yogurt

      • Honey (1/2 teaspoon)

        Directions:
        1. Mix the Ingredients
        2. Wash and Dry Your Face 
        3. Apply the Face Mask using a flat brush or your finger for a thin layer to your face
        4. Wait 5-10 minutes and relax
        5. Rinse with warm water and a washcloth, then pat your face dry
        6. Apply the Rest of Your Skincare

  2. Avocado Mask for best Hydration Station

    This hydrating avocado face mask is exactly what dry skin needs! It’s packed with many nutritious ingredients and is super easy to make.

    Why Avocado? Avocado is packed with healthy fats and when applied to the skin, the natural oils nourish and hydrate your skin for a natural glow. It is also packed with vitamins and antioxidants to help with redness and inflammation.

    4. Let it sit on your face for 20 minutes
    5. Rinse with lukewarm water and follow up with a moisturizer

    We all know that drinking tea regularly boosts your immune system and reduces stress. There are many tea infused beauty products in stores, so why not add tea to your DIY face mask, too?

    With just 3 ingredients, this green tea mask cleanses your skin and helps unwind yourself from a stressful day.  

    You can use matcha, which is a green tea in powder form, or you can use regular green tea bags steeped in water. Either way, it will help minimize oily skin and promote smoother skin for that dewy glow.

    Ingredients:

    • 1 Green Tea Bag OR 1 tbsp of Matcha Powder
    • 1 tbsp of Honey
    • 2 tbsp of Aloe Vera Gel

     

    Instructions:

    1. Boil a green tea bag into hot water and allow it to cool down OR get your matcha powder
    2. Mix the green tea with honey and aloe vera until it is smooth
    3. Wash and Dry Your Face
    4. Apply the Face Mask using a flat brush or your finger for a thin layer to your face
    5. Let it sit on your face for 10-15 minutes
    6. Wash off with warm water, pat dry, and moisturize
