Product Information & Care

Our unisex sizing is a modern fit. Take a peek at our size guide for more information here.

All our t-shirts are preshrunk, meaning they undergo a controlled process during manufacturing to minimize shrinkage. Because it is a natural fibre, other elements such as moisture, agitation and high heat can cause the garment to shrink. The fibers relax after it has been worn so it ends up back to where it was before you washed it.

A good tip!: Wash your garment in cold water and line dry them to  avoid the high temperatures and agitation.  It will help to minimize shrinkage!

You can go directly to the product you purchased. If you can provide a picture, size you bought and height, it helps other customers as well with purchasing  decisions and helps us improve whenever needed. Thanks for the love!

Conventional cotton uses 16%-25% more pesticides and herbicides than any other crop. Some of these chemicals are among the most deadly in the world. On the other hand, organic cotton is the best choice for people with sensitive skin, allergies, and chemical sensitivities.  Not only is our fabric made from organic cotton we also use only eco-friendly dyes and azo-free dyes.  We currently use low-impact dyes.

Fair trade
By definition is trade between companies in developed countries and producers in developing countries in which fair prices are paid to the producers.

Fair Trade Cotton
Cotton, like coffee, is a commodity and is the most widely used natural fibre in the textile sector. Production is dominated by industrial-scale farms in a handful of countries whose governments can afford to protect their markets with subsidies. This means that millions of small-scale farmers in places like West Africa and India are often unable to effectively contribute to supply chains, or earn enough to cover their costs of production, let alone make a living income. It has been reported that for over a decade there has been mass cotton farmer suicides linked to major debts incurred by Monsanto and BT Cotton, and among other reasons such as debt, health issues, and use of chemical fertilizers and much more.

When you see the FAIRTRADE mark on a garment it means that the cotton has been sourced from a Fairtrade certified manufacturing  organisation. It has also been produced in a fully certified supply chain where there is full traceability of the cotton from seed to shelf. The Good Tee is so proud to be Fair Trade Cotton Certified.

From seed to shelf, our organic cotton fabric is made with love in India. We manage the entire supply chain, from buying the yard, knitting and dying, and washing to ensure we create and provide the best quality.

Our designs are all created in Canada, where we then work closely with our garment factories in India who turn our ideas into the comfiest fashion basics in town.
