Good Care

Wash Cold/Wash Full: Wash your clothes in cold rather than hot. Wash full loads to save on the amount of energy you use. Switching to an Energy Starmuch as 7,000 gallons of water per year. Use enviro-friendly detergents.

Air Dry: Skip the dryer- it uses lots of energy and emits CO2. Instead, air dry outside or inside. If using a dryer, use dryer balls to shorten drying time. Ditch the dryer sheets, they contain nasty chemicals.

Wash Less: Spot clean. It’s that simple.

A great resource for designers and entrepreneurs

This is a comprehensive book that walks you through the complexities of the manufacturing process. Adila clearly breaks down the steps to turn your design ideas into an actual product. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to learn how to work with overseas manufacturers or designers who want to start their own clothing brand.

A foundational read for any new designer starting out

This book is so helpful for any new entrepreneur/designer that wants to understand how to approach the fashion industry as they try to develop and bring their product to market. Adila breaks down, clearly, the steps you need to take to bring a design to life and how to approach and communicate with manufacturers.
